I am Shelby Nicole!

My name is Shelby, and I am from Paducah in western Ky. It has lots of water around and my family, so it is the perfect place for me. I am currently at the University of Kentucky pursuing my dream to become a doctor. I come from a family of many entrepreneurs. My grandparents have a barbecue and ice cream shop by the river, and my parents sell bass boats near Kentucky Lake. I work there in the summers during the week, and spend my weekends on the pontoon at the lake. My other hobbies include crafting old lady style, like knitting, painting, cross-stitching, and also reading. Traveling is a love of mine, taking up most of the spots on my bucket list. I have a map of Europe covered in places I will go someday. However, my true love is music. I've played piano since I was 5, and I love nothing more than to sit down to play and sing a song I'm feeling. My family is musical, so I get it honestly. Everyone sings, and my brother plays guitar. He's almost 15 and my best friend! He is a cool guy, and I hate that I left him at home. Also, I think that Netflix is one of the best inventions in history, and I am a firm believer that ice cream can make any day better!
